2019 Subaru Crosstrek XV 3D Scan
Laser scanned data provides reliable and consistently accurate set of assets to design and engineer high quality products. Most non-professional 3D scanning options offer lower precision and tolerances, which may affect product fitment and quality control. For this project we performed a full exterior scan on the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek (also known as XV in other countries). The exterior data can be used for a wide variety of applications: from designing body enhancements and upgrades to offroad accessories. Additional data was captured with the fuel door open and closed, allowing designers and engineers to inspect and create close-fitting openings for exterior parts. All the curves and surfaces of the Subaru were captured at high resolution with reliable volumetric accuracy.
The scan was performed with industrial-grade 3D laser scanning equipment, not photogrammetry or structured white light equipment. This data is available for sale, please contact us for more information.
